nearby the Expo, there are two areas, falling almost entirely within the perimeter of the Milan South Agricultural Park, which were identified as peri-urban agricultural areas to be subjected to detailed design and, as such, lend themselves to give shape to the 'Expo Park'. - the PCU (Plan Urban Belt) West, in the municipality of Milan, including Boscoincittà, Trenno Park, Cave Park and the extensive agricultural extension landlocked and located inside the Ring Road West.
- the Park of the 5 municipalities in the municipalities of Milan, Cornwall, Pero, Rho, Settimo Milanese, including an agricultural area sufficiently compact, which is included in the Milan South Agricultural Park and next - through the gap formed by the ring road west - to the PCU West.
This area, without losing its current prerogatives of productive agriculture, can be 'environmentally-equipped' to become the largest park of the Expo.
also insist on these projects for the areas: in addition to permanent construction business since the 70's by Italy with our Center for Urban Forestry, Legambiente Lombardia has started a project funded by the EU ban Urban Development and animation social Park 5 municipalities.
interventions to provide ongoing design and implementation of the large park of the Expo are, in relation to forestry operations and of restoration, those resulting from the execution delle COMPENSAZIONI ECOLOGICHE PREVENTIVE e, per quanto riguarda gli interventi destinati alla fruizione e al cicloescursionismo, quelli derivanti dallo sviluppo del progetto VIA D'ACQUA in connessione con i RAGGI VERDI. La collaborazione con gli imprenditori agricoli è inoltre l'elemento su cui innestare un progetto di valorizzazione e generazione di ACCOGLIENZA RURALE, utile anche a far fronte ad una parte della domanda turistica che l'Expo appare destinato a determinare.
