1) la creazione del "Centro per lo sviluppo sostenibile- Casa delle associazioni" un luogo che non sia solo un edificio, ma un'agenzia di progettazione e lavoro in rete a livello sia locale che internazionale, tra associazioni, ONG di cooperazione internazionale, centri di studio e ricerca e tutti gli altri attori impegnanti nello sviluppo sostenibile, fondato sulla sussidiarietà e sulla partecipazione, sulla base di quanto già sperimentato in occasione dell'Expo di Saragoza, che abbia come obiettivo lo sviluppo sostenibile a tutti i livelli, a partire dal locale fino al globale.
2) il riconoscimento istituzionale di questo Centro da parte delle Institutions involved. A highway tunnel between Linate and Expo?
Ci sono già le imprese appaltanti (capofila la Torno). C'è già la stima di denaro pubblico da richiedere (800 milioni di euro che non ci sono, poi la differenza la si può pretendere in corso d'opera). C'è la scusa dell'Expo. Una pura scusa, perché di questa mega autostrada urbana sottorranea non c'è traccia. E il comune si appresta ad affidare i lavori a trattativa privata (vedasi articoli su Repubblica e Corriere ).
In attesa di una uscita pubblica che sto studiando con Damiano per la prox settimana, mi domando solo una cosa: non si era deciso di NON costruire parcheggi ad hoc per il nuovo quartiere dell'Expo? Che chi arrivava in auto avrebbe dovuto lasciarla lungo le autostrade a qualche chilometro e sarebbe poi stato portato sul posto con navette? E se invece c'è il tunnel, il povero visitatore dell'Expo cosa fa? Sbarca a Linate, trova una flotta di taxi e di auto a noleggio che lo attendono, per guidare in un panoramico tunnel sino alla Fiera? Eppoi torna indietro per parcheggiare e riprendersi la navetta? Il tutto a toll? All ready for 2015? I

- No alle vie d'acqua, sì al ripristino e valorizzazione del reticolo di canali e corsi superficiali esistenti o abbandonati, come dichiarammo nelle osservazioni dell'agosto 2007 e come furono parzialmente introdotte nel dossier di candidatura.
- Sì al recupero pieno e multifunzionale delle cascine e delle imprese agricole di Milano e della cintura (rete dei parchi a cominciare dal Sud Milanese).

"Facciamo l'Expo giusto" è il titolo di un appello che circola da un paio di mesi e che è stato reso pubblico da Repubblica domenica 8 marzo . Party gathering signatures for a law of popular initiative in the Region of Lombardy, on the initiative of Legambiente Lombardia "Regulations for the control of land use and discipline of ecological compensation preventive . The campaign is titled: "Put un freno al cemento, costruisci natura” e ha lo scopo di condividere con tutte le cittadine e i cittadini della Lombardia un impegno a fermare il consumo indiscriminato di suolo.
Al centro della campagna c'è una proposta di legge regionale di iniziativa popolare: , per la quale Legambiente si impegna a raccogliere almeno 10.000 firme che verranno depositate in Regione. Uno degli obiettivi della legge è ottenere un riconoscimento giuridico fondamentale e per ora assente nelle leggi del nostro Paese: il suolo è un bene comune.

"The consultations and the consultation - proposals to Milan Expo 2015" is the title of a proposal drafted by Legambiente to try to combine the speed of decision path with the largest and conscious participation. La proposta viene inviata a Paolo Glisenti. Il testo completo , ora pubblico, si può riassumere nei seguenti punti fondamentali:
- Principio guida: è meglio instaurare una pratica di decisione e di lavoro trasparente e partecipativa, che sappia cogliere preventivamente i problemi e anticipare i conflitti (che comunque ci saranno), piuttosto che aggiungere tempi e correzioni a posteriori rispetto a delibere o prassi di lavoro avviate.
- Garantire la verifica partecipata delle decisioni rispetto agli obiettivi socio ambientali definiti nel Dossier di candidatura e ai criteri di sostenibilità.

La Fondazione Legambiente Innovazione presenta in un affollato workshop in Camera di Commercio il suo primo progetto in vista dell'Expo 2015: La centrale di mobilità . Di cosa si tratta?
Un luogo fisico e virtuale in cui poter trovare informazioni personalizzate e servizi innovativi per spostarsi sul territorio, dove poter acquistare abbonamenti e offerte di viaggi integrati. Un luogo in cui poter acquistare, ad esempio, il biglietto per andare a teatro e allo stesso tempo prenotare l'auto o la bici messe a disposizione dai servizi di car sharing e bike sharing.
Vogliamo creare a Milano la prima Centrale di Mobilità italiana . Perché gli esempi virtuosi che sono nati e si sono sviluppati all'estero, ancora una volta fanno scuola. All'incontro (ecco il programma ), infatti, hanno partecipato ospiti stranieri che hanno illustrato il funzionamento e i risultati raggiungi a Francoforte e nella regione austriaca della Stiria ( ecco il file degli atti) .
