L'ultima immagine (fonte modello GFS) è riferita alla pressione al suolo e relativo geopotenziale alla quota media di 5400 m, e tratta l'evoluzione sul lungo termine (siamo alla mattina di domenica 16 gennaio), evoluzione a cui ad oggi sembrano convergere la maggioranza dei modelli fisico-matematici più autorevoli. In parole povere questa configurazione mostra il nemico di tutti i meteo-appassionati, dai surfisti ai nivofili: l'Anticiclone a matrice sub-tropicale!
Sembra molto probabile che dalla seconda metà della prossima settimana quasi tutto il Mediterraneo subirà un incantesimo: mare piatto, tempo mite in quota e al centro-sud, giornate nebbiose o con nubi basse al nord, neve che si scioglie in montagna, venti assenti ovunque, inquinanti che crescono nelle città. Quanto si protrarrà questa situazione così statica? Difficile dirlo, speriamo il meno possibile!!

Martedì 11: Venti da W-SW in aumento durante la mattinata, a partire dai settori più a nord. Onde da 0.5-0.8 m inizialmente, che crescono e si estendono ai settori meridionali. Venti tra moderati e forti nel pomeriggio, misura fino a 1-1.3 m verso sera.
Mercoledì 12: Dopo la swell da W-SW della notte passata, rapido ingresso di forti venti off-shore (N-E), dai settori più a nord, con scaduta di qualità in rapido calo, mentre reggerà until the evening on the southern sectors. Attendibilità bassa, controllare le webcam prima di muoversi.
Martedì 11: Al mattino piccole onde da S-E in scaduta sulla Puglia meridionale, attorno a 0.5-0.8 m, in calo. Possibili ancora 0.5 m sulle Marche meridionali (attendibilità bassa). Dalla tarda mattinata entra il vento tra garbino e ponente un pò su tutti i settori, con mare poco mosso o calmo, eccetto per la Puglia meridionale, dove 0.5 m da S-E saranno possibili anche nel primo pomeriggio.
Mercoledì 12: Venti da N-NE in ingresso dal nord Adriatico prima, ed estensione ai restanti settori in mattinata. Onde da N-NE dalla Romagna alla Puglia (qua nel pomeriggio), con misura attorno a 0.5-0.8 m. Venti tra moderati and strong in the morning, down from the Romagna in the afternoon, with a consequent decline, while reinforcing the southern sectors.
