Era mercoledì pomeriggio che ho deciso di andare a vedere
David LaChapelle al Palazzo Reale. Erano le 16,30 e stranamente il 15
era vuoto, con tutta calma sono arrivata davanti al museo, e non so
perchè l' edificio mi mette sempre un certo entusiasmo e,
inconsciamente, spunta la faccia da intellettuale che crolla quando le
dicono :"4,50 euro ha l'abbonamento annuale del tram". Con voce da
suora dell'ordine delle Orsoline rispondo :" Ma è fantastico, grazie, e
Dio la benedica!" ero un' Orsolina no? Divagazioni a parte entro nella
mind LaChapelle was born in Fairfield on March 11, 1963, after

Proseguendo
nel giro vedo tutte le sue foto più famose e conosciute, più altre mai
viste, semplicemente splendide, così eloquenti: il disagio della
società dei consumi, lo spreco, la morte, la paura, queste donne
oggetto, carne da macello, da stupro, sempre con abiti e scarpe (che
scarpe) all' ultimo grido, i temi sono "fotografati" con estrema cura
nel dettaglio, ti perdi ad osservare ogni singola foto. Guardo volti
indifferenti, alteri in un contesto di rovina e catastrofe.
Le star, come le abbiamo sempre conosciute con lui are best at their worst
: Eminem with a lit stick of dynamite between her legs, and a
Liz Taylor portrayed as we would like to see:
excessive and decadent. Spears, Baby one more time with an angelic face from
girl next door wearing the hot pants
from which you can see.
photos make up for the too little information
hung here and there in the halls.
The bookshop also leaves much to be desired, and the prices are very attractive not

unfortunately not a postcard that does justice to the photos.
Go see the show deserves, is an indescribable feeling to see with your eyes and hands (a
safe distance) works of art are as unique as the
LaChapelle genius who created them.
